Middlesex Driving Instructor Check Test Training
As an ADI you will receive a letter from the DSA requiring you to take a Driving Instructor Check Test. You are required to take this test between 1 and 4 years depending on your current grade.
What Is The Purpose Of The Test?
The Driving Instructor Check Test is there to ensure that all driving instructors in the UK carry out a high standard of training to all drivers. After all, as a driving instructor you are responsible for all of the new drivers on the road.
Following the check test you will be given a grade from 1-6, 6 being the highest. If it is your first check test and you've not reached the required standard you may be given an 'E' grade.
If you receive and 'E' grade, do not panic. We've worked with instructors who have received an 'E' grade and following some further training with us, they've gone on to achieve very high grades.
If you find yourself in this position the important thing is to highlight the areas that need to improve, and bring them up to the required standard.
Training For The Check Test
We believe check test training is essential. It's not worth leaving anything to chance and our grade 6 instructors will pinpoint any areas that require additional work.
Following the training you can go into the test knowing that you are fully prepared.
Over time you can pick up bad habits and it's always good to have another opinion before the big day.
Also if you achieve a grade 4,5, or 6 on your check test, you won't need to take the test again for approximately 4 years whereas a grade of 1-3 will result in another test being requested within 12 months. Therefore our training can save you money and hassle in the long run.
The check tests can be very daunting particularly if it's your first test. It's important that you give yourself the best possible chance of passing.
